Apple Declares Cost Cuts For IPhones in India

Apple has rolled out the newest generation of iPhones, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, and iPhone X. And analogous to the custom followed in the U.S. since last couple of years, the Cupertino major has cut the costs of earlier-generation iPhones in India also. Apple has declared price slashes for its iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 handsets in the country.

The price slashes must be good news for users who were holding their acquirement of iPhones in the expectation of a cost cut. Particularly, since the newest price cut brings Apple iPhone 7 under the price bracket of Rs 50,000.

In 2016 too, Apple had declared cost cuts for iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S merely a day after of the worldwide revealing of iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7. In July as well, Apple had cut retail costs by 4% to 7.5% of all its iPhone models. The cost cuts were declared the day GST (Goods and Services Tax) came into application (July 1, 2017). The US-based handset company claimed that it has passed on the advantages accrued from GST rule to users.

Apple finally rolled out iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, and the 10th anniversary smartphone of the company, iPhone X. All the iPhones arrive in 256 GB and 64 GB storage versions. While the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 will be accessible in India from next month at a price of Rs 73,000 and Rs 64,000, respectively, Apple iPhone X will be obtainable at a cost of Rs 89,000.
